AMERICAN GAS STATIONS
The series was taken in summer 1990 when the United Staates prepared for the "war on oil" — a reaction to Iraq's occupation of Kuwait (the first Gulf war).
It was the second energy crisis after 1978. The gas stations were shot with a 4 x 5-inch view camera on negative film. A selection of 24 vintage c-prints (40 x 50 cm).
